Install CAST v63 on Android

One tap to get the beta APK. Open it after download, then tap Install.

Using an iPhone or iPad? Go to the iPhone path—APK files do not install on iOS. iOS will be available later via TestFlight/App Store.

  1. Open the file named cast-v63-private-beta.apk.
  2. If you do not see it, open Chrome menu > Downloads or Files > Downloads.
  3. Tap Install, then open CAST.

Quick Android setup

Use this only if you need help during install.

  1. Tap Download Android APK.This saves cast-v63-private-beta.apk to the phone.
  2. Open the APK file.If Chrome does not show it, use Chrome menu > Downloads or Files > Downloads.
  3. Allow install if Android asks.This usually says “install unknown apps” for Chrome or Samsung Internet.
  4. Open CAST.Create/sign into account if available, or continue local-only for testing.
  5. Download the default model in CAST.Use Wi-Fi. CAST v63 keeps the phone awake during setup and can resume a saved partial download if the connection drops.
If Android says App not installed, uninstall the older CAST beta and install v63 again.
